Private plant medicine retreats for couples ready to reconnect, rebuild trust, and deepen love.
Plant Medicine Power exists for couples who know their relationship is capable of more.
More tenderness. More honesty. More emotional safety. More intimacy.
More presence. More of the quiet, unmistakable feeling of being truly met by the person beside you.
Many of the couples who come here are not looking for a conventional retreat.
They are mature, established, and private.
They may have built full lives, successful careers, families, and shared histories together.
From the outside, things may appear stable. But inside the relationship, something has become harder to access.
The conversation does not flow the way it once did.
Plant Medicine Power offers a different kind of space
A private, luxury plant medicine retreat for couples
Designed to support emotional reconnection, relationship repair, and deeper intimacy through sacred plant medicine, trauma-informed therapeutic guidance, and bespoke integration support.
This is not a group retreat center.
It is not a general wellness holiday. It is a discreet, highly personal experience created with you and for you.
Relationships do not drift apart only because of poor communication.
Often, they drift because protection slowly replaces openness.
Conversations become shorter because previous ones felt disappointing.
Affection becomes less spontaneous because rejection or tension feels possible. Vulnerability becomes something each person manages privately rather than shares safely.
Over time, couples can find themselves living parallel lives. Functional, respectful, and perhaps still loving, but no longer deeply connected.
Plant Medicine Power is built around the belief that couples need more than surface-level advice when the relationship has become emotionally guarded.
They need a setting where the nervous system can soften, where old assumptions can loosen, and where both people can meet each other with more honesty and compassion.
San Pedro and psilocybin are used within a carefully held, private process to support this opening.
The medicine is not treated as a quick fix or a replacement for relationship work.
It is held as a sacred catalyst that can help couples access the deeper emotional truth beneath defensiveness, distance, resentment, or fear.
The work is always personal. The retreat is always private.
The aim is always to create a safer space for the relationship to reveal what is ready to be understood, repaired, released, or renewed.
Instead, you have the space to move at the pace of your own relationship.
You can talk, rest, cry, walk, sit in silence, reconnect physically, or simply be together without interruption.
For many couples, this level of privacy is not simply more comfortable. It is essential.
Privacy changes the depth of what becomes possible.
When a couple is exploring trust, intimacy, hurt, desire, or emotional distance, a group environment can subtly keep both people guarded.
Even if the group is kind and supportive, part of the mind may still be monitoring, comparing, filtering, or performing.
A private retreat removes that pressure.
There are no strangers witnessing your process.
No shared group schedule pulling you away from a conversation that needs time.
No need to explain your mood at breakfast or manage the energy of other participants after ceremony.
This is why Plant Medicine Power is intentionally private.
The couples who choose this work are not looking for spectacle. They are looking for depth, discretion, and meaningful transformation.
Every Plant Medicine Power retreat is custom-designed. Your retreat may be held in Portugal, Costa Rica, Southeast Asia, Canada, the USA, or near Los Angeles, California…
Depending on the needs of your relationship, your preferences, privacy considerations, and the legal context of the medicine work.
Some couples are nourished by the openness of the ocean.
Others need the quiet containment of a forest or the stillness of the mountains.
Some prefer to travel far away from the patterns of daily life, while others want a refined private retreat closer to home.
The setting is not chosen as a backdrop. It is chosen as part of the emotional container. A beautiful environment can help the body soften.
Privacy can help the mind settle. Stillness can create the conditions for conversations that daily life rarely allows.
Wherever the retreat takes place, the experience is designed to feel calm, sophisticated, private, and deeply supportive.
Relationship expert, plant medicine guide, and founder of Plant Medicine Power.
Nicola Beer brings more than 20 years of professional experience supporting individuals and couples through relationship challenges, emotional healing, personal transformation and deep inner change.
Her background includes relationship counseling, trauma-informed therapy, clinical hypnotherapy, Timeline Regression Therapy, Neuro-Linguistic Programming, life coaching, emotional bodywork and transpersonal psychotherapy.
Alongside this therapeutic foundation, Nicola is an experienced plant medicine facilitator. She has trained with shamans in Ecuador and the UK and has participated in more than 100 San Pedro and psilocybin ceremonies.
This combination of professional expertise, sacred medicine experience, and grounded emotional intelligence shapes the way Nicola holds retreats.
Her work is compassionate without being sentimental, spiritually open without being vague, and practical enough to support couples in bringing ceremony insights back into the reality of their relationship.
She understands that mature couples do not need dramatic language or exaggerated promises.
They need a guide who can hold complexity with calm authority: love and resentment, loyalty and hurt, desire and distance, fear and hope. That is the kind of space Nicola creates.
Her own path has included periods of emotional pain, low self-worth, relationship difficulty, and the experience of carrying old protective patterns into love.
Like many people who have lived through instability or emotional wounding, she came to understand that insight alone does not always create change.
You can know what a healthy relationship looks like and still find your body reacting from old fear.
You can understand your patterns intellectually and still repeat them.
You can long for closeness and still protect yourself from the vulnerability it requires.
Plant medicine became a profound turning point in Nicola’s own healing.
Through San Pedro and psilocybin ceremonies, she experienced a deeper form of emotional release, self-compassion, and inner clarity than intellectual understanding alone had provided.
This personal transformation did not replace her therapeutic training. It deepened it.
It gave her a lived understanding of how plant medicine, when held with skill and reverence, can help people access emotional truth, soften protective patterns…
And reconnect with themselves and others in a more embodied way.
Today, Nicola brings that integration into her work with couples.
She does not position herself as someone above the process, but as someone who has walked through her own transformation and now holds a refined, trustworthy space for others.
Every retreat is built around three essential phases: preparation, ceremony, and integration.
This structure is especially important for couples because the retreat is not only about what happens during ceremony.
It is about what the experience reveals, how it is understood, and how both partners bring those insights back into daily life.
Preparation
Before the retreat, Nicola takes time to understand your relationship, your history, your current challenges, and your intentions.
This may include private conversations, readiness assessment, medical and emotional screening, and preparation sessions to help both partners enter the retreat with clarity and respect for the process.
Preparation helps create safety. It ensures the retreat is not generic, but designed around the specific emotional landscape of your relationship.
Ceremony
During the retreat, San Pedro and/or psilocybin ceremonies are held in a private, carefully prepared setting.
The ceremony environment may be indoors, in a quiet sanctuary, or outdoors in nature, depending on the location and what best supports the experience.
Nicola provides grounded guidance throughout the process, helping each partner feel supported while allowing the medicine to unfold naturally.
For couples, ceremony may bring forward compassion, grief, tenderness, truth, forgiveness, desire, or clarity.
Each experience is unique, and the work is held with respect for whatever emerges.
Integration
Integration is where insight becomes relationship change.
After the retreat, Nicola supports couples in making sense of what they experienced and translating it into real-life shifts.
This may include more honest communication, new agreements, deeper emotional repair, clearer boundaries, greater tenderness, or renewed intimacy.
Without integration, even profound experiences can fade. With integration, the retreat becomes part of how the relationship evolves.
Plant Medicine Power is primarily for couples who are ready for a private, premium, relationship-centered retreat experience.
Some couples come because they feel distant and want to find their way back to each other.
Some come because they are navigating unresolved hurt, trust issues, or betrayal.
Some come because the relationship is good, but they want to deepen intimacy, emotional honesty, and shared spiritual connection.
This work may be appropriate if both partners are willing to participate, reflect, and approach the process with sincerity.
It may not be appropriate if one partner is being pressured to attend, if there is active crisis requiring immediate intervention, or if medical or psychological screening suggests plant medicine is not suitable at this time.
The application process exists to protect the integrity of the work and ensure every retreat is entered responsibly.
Although Plant Medicine Power is now primarily couples-focused, Nicola also offers select individual retreats for people who are ready to understand and transform the relationship patterns that have shaped their lives.
This may include
Individual retreats remain private, bespoke, and deeply supported, but they are secondary to the core focus of Plant Medicine Power: helping couples reconnect, repair, and grow together.
If you and your partner feel called to explore a private plant medicine retreat, the next step is a confidential application call.
This call is not a therapy session and it is not a general coaching consultation.
It is a focused conversation to understand your relationship, answer your questions, assess whether the retreat is appropriate, and explore what a bespoke experience could look like.
Both partners should be willing to attend and participate in the process.
If the work feels aligned, Nicola will guide you through the next steps with clarity and care.

Love can become guarded for very understandable reasons. Sometimes it happens after a breach of trust. Sometimes it happens through years of small disappointments.
Sometimes it happens because life becomes full, demanding, and practical, and the relationship slowly loses the space it needs to breathe.
But distance does not always mean the end of love. Sometimes it is an invitation to pause, listen more deeply, and create the conditions for something more honest and alive to emerge.
If you are ready to explore that possibility, I would be honoured to support you. With deep respect for your journey,
